Eglwysilan branch celebrates its 100th Anniversary
A wonderful evening in every way!
Eglwysilan Branch celebrated a 100 years of Mothers Union in the Parish through prayer, worship and fellowship. A special service presided by Bishop David was held on the evening of September 8th 2016 at St Peter’s Church, Senghenydd. It was good to see so many Mothers’ Union Officers, past and present, along with a number of clergy who were able to join in our celebration event.
Bishop David gave an inspiring address encouraging the next 100 years of MU!
A few of our members today are granddaughters of the founder members and I wonder if their granddaughters will be members in a 100 years’ time? Many memories were shared with friends, old and new, over a glass of wine, tea or coffee and superb homemade refreshments.
A very memorable and happy evening.
