New Young Members at Cwmparc, Rhondda

It was with great joy that William Grenter and Alisia Armstrong, both university students, were admitted to Mothers Union by the parish priest and Mothers’ Union member, Fr. Philip, at the Sunday Eucharist on 11th September at St. George’s Church, Cwmparc, Rhondda.

In this 140th anniversary year, we are reminded that Rose Smith, one of the members of Mary Sumners’ first branch in Old Arlesford was the mother of Dorothy Jones of Cwmparc.
