Gelligaer branch raises over £300 for the caravan
Lowrie Washington-Jones, Action and Outreach Coordinator, visited the Gelligaer branch of the Mothers Union recently where she was presented with a cheque of £318.00 for the Away From It All caravan at Trecco Bay.
Branch members had raised this wonderful amount by holding a flower arranging demonstration and coffee morning. Amazing ladies – and gentlemen!
The new caravan is fabulous and the A&O Unit look forward to welcoming members during the Open Week in July (11th- 13th) where there will be the opportunity to see the caravan and share a cuppa with members of the Action and Outreach team.
