Judy Hopkins from our Merthyr Branch volunteered during a Deanery meeting to raise money for Deanery funds through doing a Zip Wire Challenge. On Monday 23rd August at 2.30pm, Judy did her Zip Wire ride at Zip World Tower in Rhigos. The photographs show her MU Scarf tied to her harness as she descends through the countryside!
An amazing £747 has been raised to date, with branches in the deanery generously contributing to this remarkable amount. We are so grateful to Judy for being so brave and raising much needed funds for MU. Judy says that she thoroughly enjoyed the zip wire experience and would love to do the larger one in North Wales. Well done Judy!!
